- Princeton Review Career Quiz: The Princeton Review Career Quiz is a very quick and easy career assessment tool. It only has 24 questions. This tool will generate a large list of career that match to your responses. Click on the link for the quiz and log in for FREE.
- MAPP Assessment: This tool is a little more difficult to use, but it provides lots of information to you about careers once you have completed the quiz. This quiz will take about 20 minutes to complete. There is not a fee to complete the assessment, but if you want more information, they do charge. You may complete the login for FREE. Do not pay anything for information unless your parents decide to do this. At your age, this is not a beneficial thing to do! You can look up 5 free careers and see how they match to your assessed interests and personality.
- Career Zone: This is a great resource for Career Searching in general, but it has a neat feature you can use to view 6 different interest codes, and then it will match you to careers.
- OSCAR: This is a Texas-created website made for you to search through your interests and related jobs. Have fun with the Oscar the Owl!
- O*NET Online: Search through an enormous database of occupations in the United States. Besides occupations, you can also discover if there is a big need for this type of profession. If you were to choose a certain career, but there are no jobs available in the profession, you would be unemployed making no money. This information is certainly useful. You can also browse the tasks, skills, and knowledge needed for the different occupations.
